Who?

 Who the heck am I?

Well, my name is Lili and I've been up to a lot of craft stuff for many years. My schooling is focused on a combination of Computer Graphic/Motion Technology and Psychology, but due to a variety of circumstances, I've ended up focusing on having a small business. I'm very blessed with my situation that allows me to focus a lot on crafting daily.

I have a shop on Etsy, it's called Paradise Rose Shop

I've been going to conventions and participating in events as Paradise Rose Shop for over 10 years. It mostly focuses on modern Japanese fashions, providing accessories for various of those fashions. I did do clothing at one point just for fashion shows as a complementary to highlight the accessory pieces I was creating.

Heavily focusing on this shop meant it consumed all of my crafting energy, and it has been a long while since I was able to sit back and try to make things for fun, for myself, without the mentality that eventually I need to sell something. I do enjoy making new things and hearing back from people how much they enjoy the things I make, but I missed just having the freedom to create and try new things for myself. The pandemic and the cancellation of conventions allowed me to take the time out to take some classes, and now I'm following the progress in this blog.

In my spare time, I also enjoy gaming, especially FFXIV, where I do a lot of end-game content like raiding! I am slowly getting back into streaming on Twitch as LilianaAvriel, where I have streamed gaming, crafting, and some DIY panels for virtual events!

In addition to working with UV resin for my shop, I've been enjoying different fiber art crafts and watercolor! I especially love stumpwork embroidery and Sashiko stitching.

Fashion is a huge part of my life too, but my tastes are all over the place! I really like gothic/Strega type of style, but I am also heavily into classical EGL, forever experimenting and making it my own. I like to call it Grandma's-floral-couch-potato style (I really just made that up on the spot, but I do reference myself as a potato quite a bit). Mori-kei fashion is ultimately my main interest that I keep returning to (or cottage core for the modern as Mori-kei isn't as defined anymore now that other fashions are more in style).

Anywho, nice to meet you! I have a lot to post about and I still have plans to make many different crafts. I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all!
